West Shore Home in Nashville, TN is seeking a Carpenter Trainee to join our installation team. You will support safe, high-quality window and door replacements, loading materials, traveling to jobs, and delivering a 5-star customer experience.

The role requires basic carpentry knowledge or a hunger to learn, hand and power tool familiarity, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone for company systems. Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction or a hunger to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone to log into required company systems with two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Position: Carpenter Trainee

Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30 AM

Purpose Of Position

The Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $17-$20 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Minimum Requirements
