Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking an entry-level Carpenter/Installation Apprentice to learn on the job and assist experienced Installers in creating custom closets, garages, pantries, offices, and more.

This role offers hands-on training, a supportive team, and opportunities for advancement within the company. A background in carpentry is preferred but not required, and a valid driver’s license is required for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in carpentry is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Installers in various custom construction projects.
• Follow instructions and blueprints to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with fabrication and installation on a consistent basis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
