Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a motivated Carpenter/Installation Apprentice to join our growing team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training in custom closets, garages, pantries, and more, under the guidance of experienced Installers.

You will learn to read blueprints, operate hand and power tools, follow instructions, and contribute to high‑quality workmanship while developing practical carpentry skills for client projects and on‑site installations.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in carpentry is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina for manual labor.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Installers in various custom construction projects
• Follow instructions and blueprints to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with fabrication and installation consistently
• Collaborate with team to ensure projects on time and to high standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
