Job summary

Closets by Design Houston South is seeking a Carpentry Installation Apprentice/Assistant to support Lead Installers in installing custom closets and related systems. You will communicate with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction and operate tools and the company vehicle safely.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for hands-on training and advancement within the installation team.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Closet, garage, or office installation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with installation of products in a safe, high-quality manner.
• Maintain client satisfaction by communicating clearly and professionally.
• Operate company vehicle and tools safely.
• Contribute to safe, productive, and profitable installations.

Position Overview

We currently have a Carpentry Installation Apprentice/Assistant position available:

Carpentry Installation Apprentice/Assistant assist Lead Installers with installation of products in a safe, high quality, productive, and profitable fashion. Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction by communicating what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. Operate company vehicle, tools, etc. in a safe manner.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain current driver’s license, good driving record, and operate company vehicle in safe manner
• Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
• Closet, garage, office installation experience preferred
