Job summary

Legends Global in Houston, TX, seeks a Carpenter Helper to assist the Maintenance team at Reliant Park. Under supervision of a Carpenter, you will support repairs, woodwork, and general upkeep of facility systems during events and year-round.

This role requires physical labor, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, operate basic power tools, and adhere to safety procedures and event schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, Formica and general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read shop drawings, sketches and work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance to structures including signs, podiums, crates and storage containers.
• Build objects and cut wood as required; assist in carpentry shop.
• Assist in maintaining carpentry inventory and tools.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and safety rules during events.
