Qualifications

• Know basic techniques in painting and building door hardware maintenance.
• Ability to follow and draw plans for items.
• Shop math applicable to the building trades.
• Understand operational procedures and safety rules for facility events.
• Interpret shop drawings, sketches and work orders.
• Follow policies, procedures and emergency procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance to existing structures including parking signs, podiums, crates, and storage containers.
• Build and repair wooden cabinets and countertops.
• Repair Formica cabinets and solid surface countertops.
• Operate power tools and equipment.
• Record and log all work performed and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety programs.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
