Job summary

Vassar & Company Properties seeks experienced Carpentry Contractors to support renovation, repair, and custom build projects across our property portfolio. This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible project-based scheduling.

Projects are assigned based on scope and timelines, allowing you to take on work that fits your availability and capacity while delivering high-quality craftsmanship on residential and light commercial properties.

Qualifications

• Valid contractor license (if Florida/local regulations require)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial carpentry
• Skilled in framing, trim work, cabinetry, and general woodwork
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Must have your own tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to manage projects, timelines, and job site organization
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
