Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking immediate placement of experienced Carpenters, Laborers, and Operators for a project in Lawton, OK. The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in the Western Region.

The Laborer will perform demolition and other physical tasks. The Carpenter will fabricate concrete forms and pour concrete. The Operator will operate heavy equipment safely. Pay ranges from $25-$40/hour based on experience, and candidates must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete batch plants is a plus.
• Ability to work in a high volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities.
• Fabricate, set, and strip concrete forming systems.
• Safely operate types of equipment and work with other crew members.

Job description

McMillen, Inc. is seeking immediate placement of experienced Carpenters, Laborers, and Operators for a project in Lawton, OK. The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in the Western Region.

Laborer

The Laborer’s responsibilities include performing demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities. Experience working with concrete batch plants is a plus. This role also includes assisting other skilled crafts on the project and performing additional duties. Pay Range: $25-30/hour base (DOE)

Carpenter

The Capenter’s primary responsibilities include fabricating, setting, and stripping concrete forming systems, as well as placing, pouring, repairing, and finishing concrete for heavy civil projects. Pay Range: $30-33/hour base (DOE)

Operator

The Operator's function is to be able to safely operate types of equipment but not limited to excavators, skid steer, loader, and forklifts. The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety-conscious work environment. The operator must be able to work with foremen and laborers to produce quality work in high volume time-sensitive conditions. The operator must be willing to get outside the cab and perform work with the crew. Pay Range: $33-40/hour base (DOE)

• Qualifications: All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen. In accordance with client requirements, security clearance is required and is determined based on background check results
• Schedule: 6/10 schedule with potential for swing shift schedule.
• Compensation: Prevailing Wage + Zone Pay. Per Diem if temporarily assigned 70+ miles from residence.
