Position Is Based In Ohio But Travel Is REQUIRED.

Diverse Building Solutions is a rapidly growing construction company located in Wilmington, Ohio. We operate primarily in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Thanks to our exceptional and continued growth, we are looking for a Carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter you will work on a wide range of projects at the direction of your crew lead that include but aren't limited to wood and steel stud framing, wall coverings, trim, flooring, and insulation.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs or more depending on materials.
• Physical endurance to complete the necessary tasks.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
• OSHA 10 is preferred.
  
  

Job responsibilities and duties to include

• Able to identify and complete work in a timely fashion.
• Safely operate all tools, including, but not limited to, joiners, shapers, band saws, skill saws, routers, planers, table saws, nail guns, and drills.
• Build walls, partitions, stairs, ramps, landings and decks, cabinets, shelves, etc.
• Layout, cut, drill, miter, sand and otherwise prepare materials, and to use said materials in the fabrication of various end products, including, but not limited to, lumber, plywood, particle board, plastics, and glass.
• Install, apply, maintain, or repair shock-absorbing, light reflective, sound-deadening, and decorative coverings to ceilings, walls, and floors.
• Hang and trim windows, doors, cabinets.
• Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Erects framework for structures and lays subflooring.
• Builds stairs and lays out and installs partitions and cabinet work.
• Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
• Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Maintains a clean work area free of hazards.
• Report problem areas and safety hazards.
• Performs other related jobs and duties as assigned.

Currently our crews work Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.

Schedule is subject to change based on weather, workload or other factors based on business need. Travel is REQUIRED for this position

Must be able to pass a drug test, have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
