Job summary

True North Construction in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Carpenter for residential remodeling. You will perform rough and finish carpentry on kitchens, baths, additions, and outdoor spaces, framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and siding.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of residential carpentry remodeling experience.
  • Strong skills in framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and siding.
  • Ability to read plans and work independently with minimal oversight.
  • High attention to detail and pride in clean, precise work.
  • Professional communication with clients and coworkers.
  • Valid driver's license + reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs and work in varying conditions.
  • Own basic hand tools; power tools provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough and finish carpentry on kitchens, bathrooms, additions, decks, and whole-home renovations.
  • Frame, trim, install cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, and custom millwork.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
  • Work alongside the lead carpenter and project managers to keep projects on schedule.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, trades, and the True North team.
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Perform rough and finish carpentry on kitchens, bathrooms, additions, decks, and whole-home renovations
  • Frame, trim, install cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, and custom millwork
