Tycon Builders is seeking a skilled Remodeling Carpenter to join our team in the United States. The ideal candidate will handle projects from structural framing through fine finish work, including high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels, deck construction, and general home maintenance.

You will work on diverse tasks and communicate clearly with clients to ensure quality results. The role emphasizes craftsmanship, clean work areas, and dependable, independent troubleshooting on-site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional residential carpentry or remodeling experience preferred.
• Proficiency across framing, finish carpentry, and general residential repair.
• Must possess basic hand tools (pouch, speed square, tape measure, hammer, levels, chisels, etc.).
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required for our company vehicle insurance).
• Strong communication skills and a respectful, clean demeanor when working in occupied client homes.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot structural or finish issues effectively on-site.

Responsibilities

• Residential Remodeling: Execute full kitchen and bathroom remodels, including structural modifications, cabinet installation, millwork, trim work, and fixture placement.
• Framing & Structural: Perform rough framing, wall layout, subfloor repairs, and window/door rough openings.
• Outdoor Construction: Build and repair decks, railings, and exterior structures to code.
• Insurance Restoration: Perform demolition, drywall patching, texturing, and trim replacement to restore homes.
• General Home Maintenance: Complete daily service requests, rot repairs, siding touch-ups, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Job Description & Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Remodeling Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an all-around residential professional capable of taking projects from structural framing through fine finish work. You will handle diverse assignments ranging from high-end kitchen and bathroom remodels, deck construction, and general home maintenance, to detailed insurance restoration work. Core Responsibilities

• Residential Remodeling: Execute full kitchen and bathroom remodels, including structural modifications, custom cabinetry installation, millwork, fine trim work, and fixture placement.
• Framing & Structural: Perform rough framing, wall layout, subflooring repairs, roof/ceiling joist adjustments, and window/door rough openings.
• Outdoor Construction: Build and repair custom wood and composite decks, railings, and exterior structures to code.
• Insurance Restoration: Perform selective and careful demolition on properties damaged by water, fire, or storm. Execute seamless drywall patching, texturing, and trim replacement to restore homes back to pre-loss condition.
• General Home Maintenance: Complete daily service requests, rot repairs, siding touch-ups, punch-list completions, and preventative residential maintenance tasks.
