Job summary

Opus Master Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter for residential remodeling and general maintenance in the Boston area. The role emphasizes strong building knowledge, client communication, and hands-on problem solving.

You will work Full-time, Monday–Friday, on local job sites, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring high quality work while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, carpentry, or service work.
• Strong knowledge of general and finish carpentry techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Experience working directly with clients in occupied homes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation for this position is based on relevant experience and is among the highest relative to regional industry standards, including retirement benefits and health coverage.

Position Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in RESIDENTIAL remodeling/construction and possess a strong building knowledge as well as effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry repairs and general maintenance work
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors as needed
• Communicate with clients
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Respond to urgent service requests as neededFollow company safety standards and job site protocols
