Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Carpenters to perform a range of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks related to structural components in industrial settings.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, installing structures, and coordinating with other trades to ensure safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Must have basic carpentry knowledge and ability to read blueprints or drawings.
• Experience in industrial or commercial construction environments preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastics, drywall, and related materials.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework and structures.
• Install windows, frames, flooring, and trim as required.
• Collaborate with electricians and plumbers to ensure proper system installation.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine materials and dimensions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Job Overview:

Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Carpenters to perform a variety of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks related to structural components in industrial settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, conforming to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
• Work with other craft workers, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation of systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials required.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in an industrial or commercial construction environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices in a construction setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
