Job summary

WinnCompanies in Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Carpenter to support multiple properties totaling about 2,400 units. You will install cabinets, counters, doors and related finishes in vacant and occupied units, ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and maintaining accurate time records. OSHA 10/30 safety certifications and a valid contractor license are desired; benefits include comprehensive plans and a hybrid/onsite schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous working experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• OSHA 10 & 30 safety certifications.
• General Contractor License.
• Scaffold User / Erector / Competent Person Aerial Lift Certification.
• Possess needed tools and be willing to purchase your own tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets, countertops, doors and related fixtures in vacant and occupied units.
• Perform repairs in carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
• Read blueprints and measure spaces accurately to determine quantities.
• Maintain accurate daily timekeeping records.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
