Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our College Station, TX team. You will study blueprints, prepare layouts, cut and assemble materials, and work on scaffolds at heights, delivering precise framing and formwork.

Minimum requirements include HS diploma and 1+ year construction experience; ability to pass pre-employment screenings; willingness to travel between jobsites.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of construction experience required.
• Ability to pass pre-hire screenings.
• Must be able to travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements.
• Prepare layouts using rulers and framing squares; mark cutting lines.
• Assemble, cut and shape materials; fasten with nails, screws or glue.
• May erect scaffolding and ladders for high structures.
• Verify trueness of structure with level tools.
• Erect framework for structures and lay sub-flooring.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
