Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Carpenter for the Central Water Group project in Mansfield, TX. The Carpenter will construct, erect, install wooden structures and components using hand tools, power tools and woodworking machines on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance and mark guidelines on working surface for layout.
• Prepare, build, and install wooden structures per prefab units for bridges, drainage, walls, and additional structures.
• Assist with installation of awnings or metal decking for concrete slabs (if decking is removed).
• Use carpenter’s belt with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
