Job summary

Mr. Handyman is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Handyman to provide high‑quality home and light commercial repairs in Hershey, PA. You will manage your projects, communicate clearly about scope, pricing, and timelines, and deliver a consistent “wow” experience using the Mr. Handyman Way.

You’ll work independently with your own tools, supported by an office team. The role offers flexible hours, paid holidays and vacation, health care, and a 401(k) with company match through the franchise network.

Qualifications

• Experience in handyman or carpentry roles.
• Minimum 8+ years of paid handyman or carpentry experience.
• Own tools and be insurable to drive a company vehicle.
• Pass a background and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Completing small to medium repairs and maintenance (2‑hour to 2‑day projects).
• Communicating clearly with customers about scope, recommendations, and pricing.
• Delivering a “wow” experience using the repeatable Mr. Handyman Way.
• Self‑managing your day while working independently.
• Providing excellent customer service, requesting reviews, and collecting payments.
• Using technology to document work and follow company processes.
• Maintaining safety standards, including PPE and protective booties in customer homes.
