KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Ensure proper IWP is in place and understood by their crew.
- Examine blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
- Lay out floor-plan and cabinetwork using tape, framing square, and calipers.
- Select materials and structural units, such as lumber, prefabricated doors, cabinets of wood or plastic, paneling, and inspect them to ensure conformance with building codes and local ordinances.
- Determine sequence of activities related to fabrication, assembly, and erection of structures.
- Assign workers to tasks such as cutting materials to size, building concrete forms, erecting wooden frameworks, and laying flooring.
- Inspect work performed by subcontractors including ductwork, wiring, and pipe installations to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Install doors, build stairs, and lay hardwood floors.
- Shoot grades and elevations.
- Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect all pre-fabricated materials.
- Perform concrete and rough carpentry tasks including: setting walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, slabs on metal decks and grades, concrete columns, drywall.
- Perform finish carpentry, including setting door frames, hanging doors, installing hardware, and finishing carpentry tasks like installing toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, toilet partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, and trim.
- Lead team members by example, provide coaching and feedback, and manage performance effectively.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Ability to operate equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection equipment, rigging, and form systems.
