Jacobs Construction in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking skilled carpenters, drywall installers, and painters to join our commercial team. You will work on diverse projects, from framing to finishing and interior/exterior painting, with emphasis on quality craftsmanship.

Candidates should have experience in commercial construction, knowledge of wood framing, ability to read blueprints, and finish carpentry. Journeyman carpenter certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Install and finish drywall
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces
• Perform carpentry work, including framing and finishing
• Installwindows, and doors

Required Skills:

• Experience in commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of woodframing and wood framing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in finish carpentry
• Journeyman carpenter certification or equivalent experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Expertise in crown molding and window installation

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition, we provide health insurance and dental insurance benefits to our employees.
