Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2–5 years of residential or commercial carpentry preferred.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
• Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines.
• Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy.
• Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size.
