The AHS Carpenter / Craftsman / Senior Manager (aka Field Supervisor) is a master of the trades and a master of the AHS system. The Field Supervisor (FS) has proven themselves over time as an excellent craftsman, project lead, and master craftsman. They have a global perspective to manage the assets of the company and are accountable for the profitability of all projects under their direct supervision. The FS is AHS to the customer and takes care of all work-related situations. They are the “go-to-guy” for on-site, or in the field operations.

The Handyman / Craftsman / Senior Manager is a TEACHER:

• Training: The FS trains new craftsmen in the AHS system and in work quality.
• Evaluating: Evaluates and reviews craftsmen at 30 days, 90 days, 6 and 12 months, and bi-annually via performance review sheet.
• Accountable: Manages the assets of the company and the profitability of projects under their leadership, and takes care of all work-related situations.
• Communication: Manages signed contracts, insurance liability forms for subcontractors; keeps them up-to-date, and communicates with subs and customers on the timing of the projects.
• Hiring: The FS is integral in interviewing and hiring craftsmen for in-the-field production.
• Education: Stays current in construction techniques and materials, educates the customer on available options, and educates craftsmen on different techniques, materials, and system-related items.
• Relationships: Builds relationships with craftsmen, customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and referral partners.
• Assists the Owner/General Manager as needed.
• Recommends advancement and pay raises for craftsmen.
• Maintains twenty hours of billable time per week with bonuses for billable hours above thirty. (Until the business is too large to do the 20 hours billable then bills any time they can.)
• Must be able and willing to perform all job types, including climbing ladders up to 25' high and lifting up to 75LBS.
