Job summary

Noble Texas Builders is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Houston team. You will support construction projects, ensuring timely flow of materials and safety on site. The role requires extensive carpentry experience, including concrete formwork and power-tool proficiency.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, work on diverse projects from renovations to new builds, and collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and general contractors to deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, frames, flooring, and trim.
• Construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures, including walls, stairways, partitions, and rafters.
• Build and set forms for pouring concrete, ensuring precise alignment and stability.
• Work with concrete to create foundations, slabs, columns, and other structures.
• Utilize a wide range of power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and general contractors.
• Follow building plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and within designated timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the construction process.
• Provide guidance and support to junior carpenters and apprentices.
