Job summary

Procon, Inc is seeking a diligent carpentry/handyman assistant to work on concrete projects and form work. The role requires following directions, safety awareness, and the ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed on site.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of trade experience and OSHA 10 certification; Spanish language skills are a plus. This is a hands-on field position with on-site work and safety training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of practical trade experience is required.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete work including tilt wall forms, footings, slabs and structural forms.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain safety and quality on site.
• Set and maintain personal work pace to meet production goals set by site leadership.
• Install and tie rebar per plans and specifications; assemble and dismantle forms.
• Keep the jobsite clean and organized to prevent hazards; report issues promptly.
• Operate equipment trained for (e.g., skid steers, backhoes, forklifts) and report maintenance needs.
