Job summary

Tri-State General Contractors seeks an experienced commercial carpenter to support retail projects across multiple states, with extensive on-site travel in Hawaii. You’ll perform demolition, framing, drywall, cabinetry, and install fixtures while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading basic drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with supervisors to meet schedules. Per diem and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/commercial carpentry.
• Knowledge of drywall, cabinetry, laminate, FRP, T-bar ceilings.
• Ability to read basic drawings and layout plans.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding.
• Able to work in active construction environments and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in active construction environments and meet production deadlines.

Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.
