Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Must follow safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance and mark guidelines for layout.
• Prepare, build and install wooden structures per prefabricated units.
• Assist with installation of awnings or metal decking for concrete slabs.
• Use carpenter’s belt with hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery.
