Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Carpenter 2 to perform complex concrete carpentry and finish carpentry on diverse projects. You will work with formwork, rebar placement, and precision layout, while following JE Dunn safety standards and using a variety of hand and concrete tools.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and readiness for non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Apprentice or trade training preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years experience in the carpentry/construction trades (Required).

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of concrete tools and carpentry hand tools.
• Sets forms for concrete including foundations, SOG, bulkheads.
• Placement of concrete with bucket, chute, pump.
• Finishing concrete with floats and trowels.
• Installation of doors, frames and hardware.
• Adheres to JE Dunn safety standards.
