JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Carpenter 1 to handle general carpentry and concrete tasks across various project types, including new builds and renovations. You will work with a range of tools, perform concrete placement, and assist with form work and finishing.

Safety, reliability, and a can-do attitude are essential. The role emphasizes adherence to JE Dunn standards, teamwork, and flexible hours required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete and carpentry is preferred.
• Able to read basic construction layouts and math.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Reliable with personal tool ownership for work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete tools and carpentry hand tools.
• Set forms for concrete (foundations / SOG / bulkheads).
• Place concrete using bucket, chute, or pump and follow placement procedures.
• Perform basic finishing of concrete with floats and trowels.
• Install in-wall and roof blocking, doors, frames and hardware.
• Maintain PPE and comply with OSHA standards.
