Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Carpenter 2 to perform complex carpentry tasks across concrete carpentry, reinforcement and finish carpentry on diverse projects, from new builds to renovations. You will use a variety of concrete tools, forms and layout methods, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work in varied conditions, with on-site responsibilities and the potential for non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; apprentice/technical/trade training preferred.
• 2+ years experience in carpentry or commercial construction.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete carpentry and reinforcement tasks including forming foundations, SOG, and bulkheads.
• Assist in setting forms and placing concrete with pumps and channels.
• Finish carpentry: install doors, frames, hardware, casework, and trim.
• Ensure PPE compliance and JE Dunn safety standards.
