Job summary

Mr. Handyman is hiring a Carpenter/Handyman Professional to perform maintenance and repair work for residential and light commercial projects. You will be responsible for completing tasks efficiently, ensuring quality, and providing excellent customer service.

You’ll work in a flexible schedule, with a company-provided van and gas card, and back-office support for scheduling and payments. The role requires strong carpentry and handyman skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman or equivalent in home/commercial settings.
• Proven ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with communicating scope, costs, and timelines to customers.
• Proficiency with basic project documentation and using company systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
• Communicate with customers to explain needs, scope, and costs; manage expectations.
• Deliver great customer experiences and build long-term relationships.
• Work independently, document jobs per the Mr. Handyman process, and use required PPE.
