Job summary

Mr. Handyman is seeking a Carpenter/Handyman Professional in the Town of Henrietta, NY. You will complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with job lengths from two hours to two days.

You will own essential tools, communicate with customers to explain work, manage expectations on scope and costs, and document each job following the Mr. Handyman Way. PPE is required, and you’ll help deliver a memorable customer experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of paid handyman experience.
• Own your own tools.
• Insurable for driving company vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and maintenance of the company-provided vehicle.
• As an experienced Handyman, proficient in at least three listed areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs for homes and small to medium projects.
• Communicate with customers to explain work and manage expectations about scope and costs.
• Deliver a great customer experience and pursue repeat business.
• Work independently using required PPE and document jobs per process.
• Wear PPE and booties to protect customer homes.
