Job summary

Empire Property Construction is seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team in Easton, PA. You will perform diverse renovation tasks across properties, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing. A valid driver's license and own basic tools are required.

Work involves painting, drywall patching, cabinet and fixture installation, floor and subfloor work, and site framing. Candidates should be reliable, capable of following instructions, and able to manage duties on

Qualifications

• Experience in building renovation including plumbing and electrical knowledge, carpentry, painting, flooring installation, doors/windows and framing.
• Exterior siding and soffit knowledge is a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with tenants and staff.
• Previous job experience: Contractors, Construction Workers, Carpenter.
• Valid driver's license with a dependable vehicle.
• Smartphone and daily work tickets via mobile device.
• Own tools for the job; basic hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction work including demolition, drywall finishing, plumbing & electrical repairs, kitchen/bath remodeling, flooring, framing and carpentry.
• Paint and drywall patching.

Summary/objective:

As part of our construction team, you are responsible for all aspects of home renovation. Essential functions:

• Perform construction work, including, but not limited to: demolition, drywall installation, spackle and drywall finishing, plumbing & electrical repairs, kitchen/bathroom remodeling, flooring install, framing, and skilled carpentry.
• Work involves a large amount of painting and drywall patching.
• Must know how to install kitchen cabinets, countertops, bathtubs, tub surrounds, and all other fixtures.

Work environment:

• Rental properties/apartments - sometimes vacant/sometimes tenant-occupied

• Often exposed to weather due to maintenance of interior and exterior of dwellings

• Warehouse setting occasionally
• Prolonged periods standing and walking, kneeling, crawling, climbing and balancing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times/100 pounds team lift occasionally.
• Must be able to carry tools and equipment up and down stairs and ladders
• Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in a variety of weather.

Requirements

Required education and experience:

• Well-rounded experience in all facets of building renovation including basic plumbing & electrical knowledge, carpentry, painting, flooring install, doors and window repairs and framing work
• Knowledge of exterior siding and soffit work is a bonus
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with both tenants and office staff
• Previous job experience: Contractors, Construction Workers, Carpenter
• Valid drivers' license along with a dependable vehicle
• Must have a smartphone and complete daily work tickets via mobile device
• Must have your own tools for the job. Basic hand tools required.

Preferred education and experience:

• At least two years of related experience is preferred.
