Brycon Corporation in Taylor, TX is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our on-site team. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and construct or repair architectural elements during project work.

Responsibilities include loading materials, operating hand tools and power tools, and coordinating with the superintendent. The role may require extended hours, weekends, and holidays; compensation follows Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in skilled carpentry
• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s record preferred

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of tasks involving hand tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and sketches
• Complete tasks such as concrete forms and braces, handrails, stairs
• Perform skilled carpentry work repairing and constructing architectural elements
• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures
• Wood and metal stud framing
• Operate hand and power tools and shop machinery
• Receive materials and offload safely
• Assist the superintendent in duties
• Prepare surfaces for paint and other finishes
• Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Work extended hours, weekends, and holidays with compensation per FLSA

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools

• Complete tasks such as, but not limited to, concrete forms and braces, handrails, stairs,
• Perform skilled carpentry work such as repairing and constructing all aspects of architectural building

• Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
• Assist the superintendent in performing duties
• Prepare surfaces for paint and other
• Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts in conjunction with proper
• Other job duties as assigned
• Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in skilled carpentry

• Must successfully complete and pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing
