Brycon Corporation. Website by Small Giants, LLC in Texas seeks a skilled carpenter to read blueprints, prepare material takeoffs, and construct wood, plywood, and wallboard structures. You will use hand and power tools, offload materials safely, and prepare surfaces for paint in a safety‑minded environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of carpentry experience, the ability to follow both written and oral instructions, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Competitive wages and benefits apply.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent; 2–3 years' carpenter experience.
• Successful background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Skilled in reading, writing, and math.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Perform a variety of tasks involving use of hands tools, such as, but not limited to, minor demolishing activities, wood, and metal stud framing
• Prepare material takeoffs
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and company equipment
• Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
• Prepare surfaces for paint and other applications
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Prepare material takeoffs


• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard


• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and company equipment


• Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient


• Prepare surfaces for paint and other applications


• Other duties, as assigned.


• Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), and weekends. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Experience, Skillset, & Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent desired, and 2 to 3 yearsexperience in skilled carpentry


• Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol


• Skilled in Reading Writing and Math


• Ability to read Blueprints
