Must Have The Following In Order To Apply

• Ability to read a tape measure to the 32^nd^ of an inch
• Ability to safely use a table saw, band saw, planer, lathe, and router
• Ability to hang doors, install floors, set docks, build stairs, build temporary covers of various sizes and shapes, work in confined spaces, operate a pneumatic nail gun, listen and take instructions, receive constructive feedback and work with others
• Ability to have regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Job Description

The company is seeking an experienced Carpenter. The Carpenter will be responsible to cut, fabricate, install, and/or repair a variety of wood structures and furnishings in mobile homes. Offices, standard office buildings and tugboats. Must know how to install windows, joiner panels, flooring and custom trim work. Must be able to run a small team with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair structural woodwork and replace defective parts and equipment using hand and power tools
• Construct floors, doors and partitions using woodworking machines, hand tools and power tools
• Transfer dimensions or measurements of wood parts or bulkhead on plywood or other material, using measuring instruments
• Layout and align material in accordance with specifications
• Measure and cut materials to determine conformance to specifications
• Install permanent and temporary ladders and handrails
• Comply with company, Federal, State, and local safety, ethics, and environmental rules, regulations and policies while performing duties
• Accountable for completion of daily work assignments
• Work with minimal supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Days And Hours

Full-time position. 40+ hours per week. 1^st^ shift typically runs from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Evenings and weekends are required when needed. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.

Pay

$24.95 hourly. Benefits are offered.
