We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The role reports to the Superintendent and involves a variety of responsibilities including wood construction, installation of millwork, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with building codes.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete an apprenticeship and possess a full set of tools as per the attached list.
2. Perform wood construction from start to finish, including installing millwork, jambs, doors, and hardware.
3. Read blueprints and layout work accurately.
4. Perform detailed formwork, metal stud work, and gypsum wall board installation.
5. Coordinate with other trades and ensure safety and proper maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid license for powder actuated tools.
• Physical ability to perform the duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow plans and blueprints.

Tools: A comprehensive list of tools is required, including a toolbox, saws, squares, tapes, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, chisels, planes, and power tools to be furnished by the firm. All tools must be kept sharp and in good condition.
