Job summary

Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Maintenance team. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on renovation work across our senior living community, including trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, and framing.

Responsibilities include kitchen/bath remodeling, drywall, painting, and mentoring teammates, with attention to safety and quality. A valid driver’s license and experience in residential renovations are required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of carpentry experience required.
• Strong finish carpentry skills, including cabinet installation, drywall, demolition, and general renovation work.
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and customer service.
• Residential renovation experience preferred; senior living experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and flexible, with the ability to follow directions.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Maintains a positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
