Job summary

Triad Service Solutions is seeking a Carousel Operator to run the carousel safely and efficiently while ensuring a positive guest experience. You will assist guests with boarding, process admissions and payments, and maintain cleanliness and security in the riding area and surrounding spaces.

The role emphasizes following safety procedures, monitoring guest behavior, handling cash transactions, and providing courteous service to guests of all ages in a bustling mall environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail/hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills required.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Comfortable interacting with children, families and guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Operate the carousel following safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct opening, operational, and closing inspections.
• Maintain safe ride perimeter and secure access gates during operation.
• Verify guest height, age, and safety requirements before boarding.
• Assist guests with boarding and exiting the carousel.
• Ensure guests follow ride rules and use safety restraints.
• Monitor guests and address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Report safety issues to management.
• Assist guests with disabilities per accessibility procedures.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and provide directions.
• Maintain cleanliness of carousel, queue, and ticketing area.
• Process cash, credit card, and electronic transactions accurately.
• Maintain cash and transaction records and perform cash counts.
• Secure cash deposits per security procedures.
• Report shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Assist with events, promotions, and other operations as needed.
