ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a dynamic leader to grow the Water/Wastewater brand across North and South Carolina.

You will guide planning, design and modeling for municipal water and wastewater systems while mentoring staff and expanding client relationships. Reporting to the Director of Capital Improvements, Water Resources, you will drive strategy, market penetration and continuous improvement, shaping ESP’s growth in the Carolinas and collaborating with engineers and sub-consultants to

Qualifications

• BSCE or related engineering degree.
• PE registration NC/SC or ability to obtain via comity.
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience in water/wastewater.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relations.
• Knowledge of local codes, ordinances and public agency standards.
• Proven business development and market growth capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and liaise with public sector clients.
• Pass drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish, lead and grow the Water and Wastewater team in the Carolinas.
• Partner with clients to perform planning studies and modeling for municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Manage design development, contract documents, cost estimates and client relations.
• Collaborate with marketing to prepare statements of qualifications.
• Build the team and foster a quality culture across staff levels.
• Present to public officials and selection committees; engage the public.
• Lead business development, marketing, proposals, budgets and backlog reporting.
• Prepare contracts, invoicing and financial reporting.
• Assist with workforce planning and monthly billing; review completed reports/maps.
• Manage division profitability and growth.
