Job summary

Ivy Living’s Ivy Park at Monterey is seeking a friendly part-time Server to deliver meals to residents and guests in a courteous, efficient manner. Shifts include 4:00pm–8:00pm on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Oakmont Management Group’s senior living communities.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, care for the elderly, and teamwork in a supportive environment that values authenticity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred, but not necessary; training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members and visitors in a professional, dignified and courteous manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down bus tables and maintain dining and kitchen areas.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
