Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Mesa, AZ is seeking a part-time nursing assistant for night shifts 10:00p-6:00a to support residents with daily living and medication needs. You will document in Medication Assistance Records, assist residents in AL and Memory Care, transport residents, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a compassionate, respectful demeanor.

Training is provided, and full-time benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and coordinating with outside health care professionals.
• Transporting residents to activities, departments, or dining within the community.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
