Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Medication Assistant for Mountain Park Senior Living in Phoenix to support residents with daily medication needs, documentation, and compassionate care. The Friday and Saturday shifts run 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, meet state requirements, and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
• Experience with dementia patients is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in AL and potentially Memory Care with ADLs, vitals, first aid, wound care, and communication with health professionals.
• Be observant of changes in residents' physical or mental state and report to leadership.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly.
