Job summary

Oakmont of Fresno, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to support our senior living community. You will ensure dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and returned to storage, supporting meal service and resident comfort.

Responsibilities include preping the dish area, transporting items to the kitchen, sanitation clean-up, and cooperating with team members to maintain a safe, welcoming dining environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Prefer six months of kitchen or similar setting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings, including TB tests.
• COVID-19 safety and PPE may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen after meals and return cleaned items to storage.
• Break down kitchen areas and perform sanitation clean-up.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with colleagues and other departments.
