Preferred Care Health Centers in Wall, NJ is seeking a Cook to join our healthcare dining team. The Cook prepares and serves food including texture-modified and therapeutic diets according to the facility menu, ensuring quality and compliance.

You will assist with receiving, storage, preparation, serving, sanitation, and cleaning, and work with dietary staff to support residents' nutrition. We value reliability, professionalism, and teamwork; if you share a commitment to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Specialized training in food service is desirable; sanitation/safety course may be required.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow meal preparation schedules.
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
• Experience in facilities using quantity food production methods.
• Knowledge of nutrition and tray card requirements.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities
