• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare large portions of meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares hot and cold foods, meals and beverages including modified textures for restricted and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains and follows all meal schedules.
• Assures all food items are handled properly to insure safety and sanitation standards according to state and federal regulations.
• Properly stores, covers, and refrigerates necessary items. Foods cooked to required temperatures per FDA Food Code.
• Performs tasks per Facility policies and procedures; reports to Department Head; complies with regulations.
