Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas within a long-term care facility. You will follow safety guidelines and interact with residents and staff to provide a positive dining environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable task execution, and adherence to sanitation standards. Training is provided, and the position supports a community-focused care setting in Idaho.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Sanitize equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform Dietary Aide and other departmental duties, as assigned.
