Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas within a long-term care facility. You will play a crucial role in supporting residents and staff while following food safety guidelines.

Positivity, teamwork, and reliability are essential as you perform routine dishwashing duties and assist with overall kitchen operations in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants/leadership.
• Must be able to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• State/County-required ServSafe or Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
