Job summary

Cypress Creek Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a PRN Weekend and Evening Receptionist in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, routing calls, and maintaining hospital safety and policy procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of receptionist or customer service experience, with strong communication and confidentiality skills. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate person/department.
• Greet and directs visitors.
• Process visitors as per hospital policy and procedure, checking for contraband, utilizing metal detector and prescribed search methods.
• Announce codes and complete emergency procedures.
• Maintain an accurate accounting of meal tickets and funds.
• Assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Must be available to work weekends and some evenings as needed.
