Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Environmental Services professional to maintain a sanitary, safe environment across inpatient, discharge and ambulatory settings. You will clean patient rooms, exam rooms, offices and public areas, following hospital policies and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication with patients and staff. A High School diploma is preferred and six months of on-the-job training is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months on-the-job training to learn policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow departmental cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in inpatient, discharge, ancillary, exam, office, waiting areas and restrooms.
• Perform cleaning tasks with appropriate products and document tasks.
• Meet patient experience and access metrics within inpatient and discharge scope.
• Stock supplies in rooms and inform supervisors when low.
• Follow policies on isolation procedures and safety requirements.
• Interact with patients politely and professionally during daily duties.
