Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services staff member to clean patient care areas, exam rooms, waiting rooms, and offices. Every other weekend rotation is included. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, prior healthcare cleaning experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or environmental services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend instructions.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs sanitizing and disinfecting in patient areas and common spaces.
• Cleans trash, dusts, vacuums, mops, and cleans high-touch surfaces.
• Performs project cleaning like vents, baseboards, and windows.
• Maintains clean, stocked housekeeping carts and linen deliveries.
• Adheres to infection control guidelines, including hand hygiene.
