Job summary

The MetroHealth System seeks an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment across its facilities in Cleveland. You will interact with patients, visitors, and clinical staff, supporting seamless throughput and adherence to infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, sanitization, and room turnover while following established environmental hygiene practices and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimal education required.
• Working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles, and facility safety requirements.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to operate and properly maintain EVS tools and equipment.
• Ability to learn and operate communication devices and software program used to perform duties.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
